September 24, 2026 at 12:29 pm in reply to: What’s the best AI chatbot for customer support in 2026?I’ve learned the “best” AI chatbot for support in 2026 really comes down to what helpdesk I already use and what I actually need it to do — just answer questions or actually take action for customers. From what I’m seeing in 2026 data, there’s a huge split: the top agentic AI setups resolve 58.7% of tickets start to finish, while basic Q&A bots get stuck around 22% because people quickly figure out it’s just an FAQ and ask for a human.

September 24, 2026 at 12:23 pm in reply to: What’s the best AI chatbot builder under $100 per month? On my $100/month budget, Tidio and Chatbase made the most sense for me — they actually fit what I can afford and cover everything I need. I ruled out Zendesk AI and Intercom Fin because they were way too pricey for me, and Voiceflow felt more like a tool for building prototypes than for running my business day-to-day.

September 22, 2026 at 2:30 am in reply to: If you were launching an AI SaaS today, what would you build?Building my AI SaaS today means ditching the generic wrapper and building a workflow engine that automates an expensive, recurring bottleneck — not just adding a chat box. My idea: an automated compliance and audit platform for regulated SMBs like insurance, healthcare, and finance. The problem I’m solving: these businesses struggle to keep their comms, contracts, and docs compliant with constantly changing regulations. Manual reviews are slow, costly, error-prone, and risky.

September 22, 2026 at 2:23 am in reply to: Has anyone tried Backstage for managing AI agents?Chatbase Backstage changes the workflow from “setting up software” to “managing a teammate” — it completely changes how teams run live support agents. As a conversational ops assistant, it turns what used to be multi-page setup screens into one simple natural language interface, without removing the important guardrails.

September 21, 2026 at 1:14 pm in reply to: How Are SaaS Companies Deciding Between One AI Agent and Multiple Specialized AgI’m facing one of the most critical architecture decisions right now. For me, the monolithic vs. multi-agent debate comes down to user friction vs. technical feasibility. If I’m building an AI SaaS today, I’m building multi-agent under the hood but presenting it as a single, unified agent to the user.

September 21, 2026 at 1:10 pm in reply to: The Real Value of AI Agents in SaaS Isn’t AutomationThese two points of mine, summarize my thoughts on this.
1. AI agents are sold on automation and cost savings, but in production their real value is operational predictability and quality control.
2. Moving from PoC to production in SaaS uncovers bigger benefits that go well beyond just saving time.

September 21, 2026 at 1:06 pm in reply to: Are AI Agents Changing What We Expect From SaaS?You nailed the shift happening in software right now. We’re moving from software as a tool to software as a teammate, and that’s rewriting the SaaS playbook. AI agents are changing what we expect from SaaS — from automating workflows to delivering autonomous outcomes.

What works depends on whether you’re B2B or B2C, your ACV, and your audience. And from real founder stories on r/SaaS, manual, hands-on tactics beat traditional marketing in the 0 to 100 phase.

September 18, 2026 at 1:49 am in reply to: How Are SaaS Teams Balancing AI Customization with Long-Term Maintenance?SaaS teams are moving past the early “hype and customize everything” stage with AI features to a more disciplined, engineering-led approach. At first, most teams built heavy, custom wrappers around models to get the exact behavior they wanted. Now they’re realizing that creates a ton of technical debt. To balance short-term tailored experiences with long-term maintenance, modern teams are finding ways to get both customization and scale.

September 18, 2026 at 1:43 am in reply to: Would you trust an AI-native help desk over Zendesk or Intercom?Whether I pick an AI-native help desk or a legacy player like Zendesk or Intercom comes down to my biggest problem— do I need faster execution or tighter workflow control. AI-first tools automate much faster right out of the box, but the legacy systems still win on complex routing, detailed reporting, and deep compliance.

September 17, 2026 at 9:57 pm in reply to: We Launched Our AI SaaS Without a Waitlist. Was That a Mistake? Most seasoned founders agree it’s better to ship a simple MVP fast than to sit on a waitlist for months. You only get real feedback when people can actually click around, test it, and pay for something that works. Get v1 out quickly, put it in front of users, and let how they actually use it shape what you build next.
I’m my own opinion why I think launching now wins:
1. Real validation: A waitlist email costs nothing, so a lot of those people never convert. A paid signup or daily active use proves you’re solving a real pain point.
2. You learn faster: You can’t guess how people will use an idea. Watching where they get stuck in a live product teaches you more than 100 survey answers.
3. You avoid overbuilding: Building in private makes it easy to add features no one asked for. Launching early forces you to stay focused on the core problem. -

September 17, 2026 at 9:48 pm in reply to: One AI agent across chat, email, voice, and WhatsApp- does it actually simplifyRunning one AI agent on every support channel makes overall maintenance simpler, but it makes prompt engineering and testing much harder at the detail level. Platforms like Voiceflow and Chatbase sell the “train once, launch everywhere” idea, which does cut down on keeping separate knowledge bases in sync, but once you put it live with real paying customers on different channels, you run into real-world issues that demos don’t show.

September 17, 2026 at 12:11 am in reply to: What’s One Feature Every New AI SaaS Gets Wrong? The one feature I see new AI SaaS products get wrong every time is the generic floating chatbot copilot. In my experience, it’s just a blank text box slapped onto a specialized app. It makes me stop what I’m doing, come up with a prompt, and manually dig for information I could have found in two clicks.

September 17, 2026 at 12:07 am in reply to: Anyone Using PocketBase for a Real SaaS Product?Yes, I run a real, revenue-generating SaaS on PocketBase. Even though its creator markets it for “small and medium-sized apps,” I’ve found its single-binary setup is so efficient it can handle millions of requests on surprisingly cheap hardware. That said, once I took it to production, I started hitting architectural trade-offs you just don’t see during the MVP stage.

September 16, 2026 at 12:51 am in reply to: Best AI customer service agent platform in 2026: What do you think will be on toIn 2026, AI support has moved beyond text chatbots to autonomous agents that can take real actions across systems via APIs.
While Chatbase works well as a strong general-purpose tool, enterprise data shows the market is now segmented by specific technical needs and scale of operations.
