Rank: IWUJI DANIELThis reframes the whole conversation well. The mistake a lot of companies make is optimizing for deflection because it is easy to measure, while resolution and trust are harder to quantify but are what actually drive loyalty. The Chime example is the proof point that these aren’t tradeoffs, done right, quality and cost savings move together.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELThe line is expectation, not availability. Just because the data exists doesn’t mean it should be used, the real test is whether a customer would be surprised the AI knew it. The best personalization stays invisible, it just quietly removes friction instead of announcing how much it knows.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELFully agree, the real win isn’t AI replacing support, it’s AI knowing its own limits. A model that hands off complex or emotionally charged issues at the right moment builds more trust than one that tries to handle everything and gets it wrong.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELResponse time isn’t the real signal, resolution quality is. Watch first-contact resolution, repeat-question rate, and escalation quality, meaning whether the human agent gets useful context or starts from scratch. If customers keep re-explaining themselves, the AI is pattern-matching, not actually resolving anything.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELSpeed is table stakes in AI support, but it only becomes a real CX win when it’s paired with accuracy, context, and actual resolution. An instant reply that misses the mark or forces the customer to repeat themselves often feels worse than a slightly slower but thoughtful one.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELI think the biggest shift here is that predictability is becoming part of the product experience. Customers don’t necessarily mind usage-based pricing when the metric clearly maps to value, but AI makes that connection much harder when usage can spike unexpectedly. A hybrid model seems like a sensible middle ground: predictable enough for budgeting, but flexible enough for customers who get more value from the product. The real challenge is choosing a metric customers can actually understand and trust.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELI think there’s definitely a push in that direction. As pricing models become more complicated, buyers are starting to value simplicity and predictability just as much as features. A customer-focused product that solves a specific problem well, with clear pricing and fewer surprises, can stand out more than an overloaded platform with dozens of confusing tiers and add-ons.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELWell said. The moment personalization feels like a display of capability rather than a solution to the customer’s problem, it stops building trust and starts eroding it. Seamless beats impressive every time.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELRight, purpose is the key filter. Relevant context saves time, unexplained context creates unease, even when it’s technically harmless. If a customer can’t intuit why the AI knows something, it should probably not be using it.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELWell put. The best use of AI in sales is filtering noise so reps spend time where judgment actually matters, not on tasks that just need to get done. Lead qualification and intent signals are exactly the kind of work AI can own without touching the relationship layer that closes deals.

Rank: IWUJI DANIELAgreed. When customers can’t easily predict what they’ll pay each month, it becomes harder to trust the product. Simple pricing removes that friction and makes the buying decision much easier. As SaaS becomes more competitive, transparency could be just as important as the feature set itself.

AI Coins
Rank: IWUJI DANIELExactly. A low monthly price doesn’t mean much if you end up paying extra for the features, usage, or integrations you actually need. I think buyers will increasingly look at the total cost of getting the job done, not just the price on the pricing page. Clear limits and predictable billing can be just as valuable as the features themselves.
