This is a really interesting way to look at Chatbase’s evolution. I agree that the bigger story isn’t any single feature, but how all of these capabilities are starting to form a complete AI support infrastructure. The shift from “AI chatbot” to “AI customer support platform” becomes much clearer when you look at Actions, Procedures, Help Desk, testing, analytics, and multi-channel deployment together. The agent isn’t just answering questions anymore; it can access knowledge, take actions, follow business logic, collaborate with human agents, and continuously be improved based on real conversations. That’s a significant distinction.I also think the Actions and Procedures layer is particularly important because that’s where AI moves from responding to customers to actually resolving issues. An agent that can simply generate a good answer is useful. An agent that can check an order, update information, trigger a workflow, or execute a defined business process is much closer to an autonomous support system.

The shift toward features like Help Desk, Actions, and Procedures makes it especially interesting for businesses looking to manage more of their support workflow in one place.
