There’s also an interesting downside here. Consistency is only useful if the instructions and knowledge are correct. An agent following a bad process perfectly can actually create more problems. So I think maintaining the agent becomes just as important as deploying it.

For me, reliability matters more than how impressive the demo looks. An agent doing ten things perfectly is more useful than one that claims to do fifty things but needs constant checking. Trust is going to become a huge part of SaaS adoption.

The idea I like most is treating the agent more like something you can manage through a conversation instead of a collection of settings pages. If the insights are actually useful and the changes are reliable, I can see this becoming part of the regular workflow rather than just a feature people try once.

Honestly, I think we’ll see a hybrid approach become pretty common. Users will interact with what feels like one AI assistant, but behind the scenes it’ll delegate tasks to different specialized agents depending on what the user is trying to accomplish.

I think the biggest shift is from AI as a feature to AI as the worker. Instead of building another tool that helps someone do a task, I’d look for a task AI can reliably take over from start to finish.

685
AI Coins
For me, the interesting part is that the first 100 users usually don’t come from some fancy growth strategy. It’s often a few conversations, a couple of referrals, and people genuinely finding the product useful. Once you know why those early users stayed, growth becomes a lot easier to think about.

I think the real test comes after the first few months. A demo can make almost any AI support tool look impressive, but real customers are messy. I’d care more about how it handles weird questions, escalations, and keeping context when a conversation moves from AI to a human.

685
AI Coins
I actually like the idea of having one agent handling everything. Maintaining separate bots for every channel can become stressful pretty quickly. But I don’t think every channel should work exactly the same, especially voice. The real test for me would be whether it actually reduces the day-to-day work without making the customer experience worse.

I think this is where a lot of SaaS teams get stuck. You want the AI to fit your product properly, but if you keep adding custom stuff, it can become a headache to maintain later. For me, I’d rather keep the core simple and only customize what actually makes a difference to the user.

For me, it’s when AI tries to be too helpful. Constant suggestions, summaries, popups, and smart actions can actually make a simple workflow feel more complicated. I’d rather have AI quietly handle the boring parts and stay out of the way when I don’t need it.

Ran PocketBase 18 months for a small B2B SaaS. Reliable for read-heavy use, but SQLite’s single-writer lock got painful under concurrent writes, and realtime got flaky with complex filters. No real scaling story past one box. Didn’t feel like a hard wall, more slow workarounds piling up. I’d still pick it pre-PMF, but Postgres for real scale.

AI Coins
Yeah we’ve been running the Shopify integration for about 6 weeks. Setup was quick, maybe 20 minutes. Order lookup is the biggest win so far. Where’s my order tickets dropped a lot and the product recommendations are solid too. Customers are actually using it and it feels more useful than the old chatbot we had.

We’ve been on Chatbase and it’s been the most usable one so far. Actually resolves stuff instead of just chatting, and the handoff to humans works without drama. Tried a couple of the bigger platforms before and they still felt like glorified bots. This one’s closer to a real agent.

685
AI Coins
Yeah, I’ve been noticing the same shift. We tried both and the AI agents actually pulled in more leads overall because they’re always on and way more proactive. Live chat still feels better for the bigger, more complicated deals though, people just trust a human more when money gets serious.
