I agree with this. Automation is definitely a big advantage, but I think consistency becomes more valuable once the AI agent is actually being used in production. Having the same process followed every time, without someone forgetting a step or losing important context, can make a real difference. It also gives teams more time to focus on the problems that actually need human attention. The key, though, is making sure the agent has good instructions and up-to-date information, because consistency isn’t very helpful if the information it’s using is wrong.

I think the biggest thing here is what happens after the chatbot goes live. A demo can look great, but real customer questions are usually much less predictable. I’d be interested in hearing how these platforms perform after a few months, especially when the knowledge base needs updating. Also, reducing tickets is one thing, but if customers keep asking to speak to a human, then the automation isn’t really solving the problem.
