The Real Value of AI Agents in SaaS Isn't Automation
The knowledge retention part is especially interesting. Teams lose a lot of useful knowledge when someone leaves or changes roles. Having an agent that can follow documented processes and retain the relevant context could make that transition much less painful.

Are AI Agents Changing What We Expect From SaaS?
I still see AI as an add-on in some SaaS products, especially when it’s basically just a chatbot sitting on top of the existing features. The real change happens when the AI can actually perform actions and become part of the workflow.

Has anyone tried Backstage for managing AI agents?
One thing I’d be watching closely is accuracy. Saving a few clicks is nice, but if I have to double check every change because I’m not sure the assistant understood what I asked, then some of that time saving disappears. The approval workflow helps, though.

How Are SaaS Companies Deciding Between One AI Agent and Multiple Specialized Ag
I can see specialized agents being especially useful when they have different permissions. A sales agent probably shouldn’t have the same access as an agent handling refunds or account changes. Separating those responsibilities could make the system safer too.

If you were launching an AI SaaS today, what would you build?
I’d build for a very specific user rather than trying to make something everyone can use. If you can solve one person’s problem really well, you have a much clearer path to expanding later.
