Your Favorite Chatbot knows your Doc. Does it know your Customers?

One thing I noticed recently with AI chatbots used by me is that a good knowledge base doesn’t automatically guarantee a good support experience. A bot can be given hundreds of pages of documentation and it might probably answer all the questions to perfection, then someone asks a question that would need tiny context, and all of a sudden the confidence disappears.

And this is where Chatbase gets interesting.

The question isn’t whether the bot can find useful information, it’s whether it can fully understand what the customer may be trying to accomplish and know when the provided information isn’t enough. Personally, I’d rather have a bot say “I don’t know, let me connect you to a human agents” than getting confident wrong answers from the bot.

Let me know your thoughts on chatbase, have you asked questions outside it’s knowledge base?

A strong knowledge base is only one piece of the puzzle because real customer questions often depend on context, account details, order history, or actions the bot needs to take. That’s where the difference between simply retrieving information and actually resolving an issue becomes clear.
