Transparency isn’t a feature its the cost of entry. If the AI can’t explain why it suggested that $200 charger with a 2star rating, the customer won’t blame the datathey’ll blame the brand.

We also tend to forget that at the beginning of it all is a human who has to update its source documents and if that person get something wrong for example misplaces a comma in a price. Its ironic that the AI would fail dueeto human error considering that is one of the main reasons AI was created.

The biggest risks that come with AI shopping agents would be in my opinion misleading. Sometimes the AI agent may not really understand your need and recommend something similar but very useless to your end result. That is why it is very important to double check and make sure that whatever is being suggested to you suites your needs and use case.
