More AI, Same Old Problems: What’s Happening With SaaS
Few times a year, a new SaaS product announces an AI assistant, AI agent, or new automation feature. Behind the scenes, some of the basic problems users have complained about for years are still not fixed. Slow interfaces. Poor mobile apps. Weak integrations. Confusing permissions. Bad notifications. Cluttered dashboards.
Without a string of doubt, AI can be useful, but adding a chatbot to a product with frustrating fundamentals doesn’t enhance the product. Sometimes AI implementation feels like a distraction from what the customers actually want fixed.
Question: When you review a SaaS product, how much should new AI features matter if the core product is still flawed?
