How Many SaaS Subscriptions Are You Paying for Just To Run One Business?

I think there’s something ridiculous about the modern SaaS stack. It seems some SaaS users have different tools for customer support, a different one for Chatbot, another for Automation, another for Analytics, another for Email automation and still have another for managing knowledge base.

Irrespective of the fact these subscriptions look too much, each one seems reasonable on its own. Put them together and suddenly your bills run into hundreds for tools that are meant to bring ease of doing business.

For this reason I’m becoming more interested in alternatives that may combine or have qualities to multitask these jobs instead of adding another tool to this pile. Most features aren’t always the answer, sometimes the better product is simply the one that lets you cancel three other subscriptions.

Let me hear for you all, what’s the most unnecessary SaaS Subscription you ever paid for?

I think this is where SaaS consolidation becomes really interesting. A tool can look affordable on its own, but when you add five or six subscriptions that each solve one small part of the same workflow, the total cost becomes hard to justify.

For me, it’s usually having separate tools for things that could easily be handled in one place. Paying for five different tools just to do what one good platform can handle feels like unnecessary cost and extra work.
