Anyone else building a Saas right now?

I’ve been working on a small SaaS project lately.
Mostly just coding after work and figuring things out as I go.
It’s still pretty early, so I’m not going to explain what it is yet. I want to get it into a usable state first before I start showing it around.
The funny part is that the actual coding has been the easy part.
The annoying stuff is everything around it.
Auth, Payments, Emails, Database edge cases. Making the UI not look like absolute garbage.
I’m curious though — for people here who have launched a micro SaaS before:
What did you waste the most time on that you wish you’d done differently?

Yes, thousands of founders are building AI-native SaaS right now, shifting from traditional feature-heavy software to autonomous agent-driven platforms that deliver direct outcomes.

The part about coding being the easy part is so relatable, it’s usually all the little things around the product payments, auth, emails, edge cases that end up eating the time, i’d be really interested to hear what experienced founders found themselves rebuilding or fixing after launch.

For me, the biggest lesson would be not over engineering too early. It’s tempting to build perfect auth flows, elaborate dashboards, complex infrastructure, and every edge case before you have real users.
