I’ve noticed the same pattern. A lot of AI SaaS products are impressive during the demo, but the real test is what happens after the novelty wears off. One common problem is AI being added as an extra layer instead of being integrated into the existing workflow. If users constantly have to review irrelevant suggestions, approve unnecessary actions, or change how they work just to use the AI, the feature quickly becomes more of a distraction than a productivity tool. I think the best AI features are almost invisible. They understand the context, reduce repetitive work, and help users reach an outcome faster without creating additional complexity.bThe question product teams should probably ask isn’t “Where can we add AI?” but “Where are customers losing time today, and can AI remove that friction?” That shift in thinking can make a huge difference.
