Customers don’t necessarily need more features—they need software that makes their work easier and produces measurable results. I especially agree with the point about AI. Adding an AI assistant isn’t enough anymore. The real differentiator will be whether AI can actually automate workflows, reduce repetitive work, and help customers achieve better outcomes. I’d also add that customer support itself is becoming part of the product experience. A great SaaS platform with poor support can quickly lose trust. In the end, the winners will likely be SaaS companies that combine useful AI, simplicity, reliability, transparent pricing, and a deep understanding of what customers actually need.
