I think the model will evolve rather than disappear. Per-seat pricing still makes sense for human users, but when AI agents are doing the actual work, pricing based on usage, outcomes, or completed tasks may better reflect the value customers receive. The interesting part will be finding a model that scales value without making costs unpredictable.
