Well said.I think AI agents will definitely put pressure on per-seat pricing. If an agent can do the work of several users, paying for each seat may start to feel less fair. Usage-based pricing could make more sense because businesses would pay for the actual value they get. But I don’t think per-seat pricing will disappear overnight, especially for tools where people still do most of the work. The SaaS companies that adapt their pricing around real value will probably have the biggest advantage.
