A small business might have 20 questions today, but six months from now the prices, services, policies, or even the whole way customers interact with the business could be different. A platform that is easy to set up but painful to update can become expensive in terms of time, even if the monthly subscription is cheap.<div>
</div><div>I’d probably test each platform with a real “change of plans” scenario rather than just building a demo. Give it new information, remove something outdated, change a workflow, and see how easily you can get the bot back on track. That would tell me much more than a feature checklist, because in the real world the chatbot has to grow with the business, not just work on launch day.</div>
