I agree with the idea that newer doesn’t automatically mean better. The real advantage of newer SaaS and AI products is that they have an opportunity to rethink workflows that older platforms were designed around.
For me, the biggest differentiator is whether the product actually removes steps from the user’s workflow. Better automation, simpler setup, useful integrations, and predictable pricing can be far more valuable than adding another dozen features.
