September 21, 2026 at 3:20 pmI think AI agents are definitely changing what people expect from SaaS products. Users are starting to look beyond dashboards, menus, and long setup processes and expect software to actually help them complete tasks. The interesting part is that this could shift SaaS from being mainly about features to being about outcomes. Instead of giving users ten different tools and expecting them to figure everything out, an AI agent can potentially handle multiple steps and automate the workflow. At the same time, expectations are getting higher. If an AI agent makes mistakes, gives poor answers, or needs constant supervision, users may question why they are paying for it.
