I’d rather have 100 active users than 1,000 on a waitlist. Waitlists feel like traction but signups are easy. Real validation is people actually using it, hitting friction, and coming back. I’d launch early if usable, learn from drop-offs, and let feedback shape the roadmap – while still capturing interest for later. Goal isn’t biggest waitlist, it’s building something people keep using.
