I think can it actually get things done? part is becoming way more important than how smart the chatbot sounds. A good agent that can check an order, update a subscription, or hand off with the full context is much more useful than one that just gives really polished answers. I’d be interested to hear how these platforms perform after a few months in production, not just in demos.
