I’m betting that at the end of the day, we would end up with a hybrid rather than AI agents replacing SaaS workflows. That is, AI handles ambiguity and intent, traditional workflows handle predictable/high risk actions and humans would handle exceptions. That actually makes more sense to me than giving one autonomous model control over everything. The agent becomes the layer that decides which workflow should happen rather than reinventing every workflow from scratch.
