I think people focus so much on whether AI can understand and respond like a human that they sometimes overlook what happens when it actually has to make decisions and take action in the real world. An agent might know exactly what to do, but limited permissions, system failures, or unclear handoffs can still stop it from getting the job done. The balance between giving AI autonomy and keeping it within clear boundaries really does seem like the biggest challenge.
