The worst AI sales agents don’t fail because they’re dumb. They fail because they’re stubborn ,they keep pushing the script long after it’s clear the customer needs something else.

That stubbornness is a direct byproduct of optimizing for deal velocity rather than signal detection.

The best ones I’ve seen have a simple killswitch,if the customer asks the same question twice in different ways, the AI escalates or pivots immediately. No repeats.
