The problem is when conversion becomes the only metric that matters. An AI agent can technically succeed at its sales objective while still leaving the customer frustrated or less likely to trust the brand. I think AI sales agents should be measured on more than just conversions,things like customer satisfaction, resolution quality, repeat engagement, and successful handoffs should matter too.
