The most concerning issue isn’t simply that advanced models are becoming more capable it’s that governance is falling behind. If frontier AI can autonomously discover vulnerabilities and interact with real world systems, rigorous pre release testing and clear accountability are essential. Treating these models like dangerous materials may sound extreme, but stronger safety standards, independent evaluations, and defined agency responsibilities are increasingly necessary.
