That’s a really good way to look at it, the implementation cost is easy to overlook when comparing SaaS prices, but a “cheap” tool can quickly become expensive once you factor in engineering time, custom integrations, maintenance, and support, sometimes paying more upfront for something that works out of the box is actually the cheaper option overall.
