I especially agree that adding another AI layer doesn’t automatically create value if it also adds more complexity. For me, the strongest alternatives are the ones that can genuinely reduce manual work while fitting into the tools a business already uses. Total cost and workflow efficiency matter much more than the headline subscription price. AI native SaaS could be especially interesting here because the winning products may be the ones that actually complete tasks rather than simply helping users navigate another dashboard.
