I think customers are becoming more comfortable with AI, but trust is still highly dependent on the situation. If I’m checking an order status or asking a simple product question, I would probably prefer an AI response because it’s faster. But if I’m dealing with a billing dispute or a serious complaint, I want to know that I can reach a human without fighting through endless chatbot menus.
