I agree that “newer” doesn’t automatically mean “better.” The real advantage of newer SaaS and AI tools is often that they rethink the workflow instead of simply adding more features to an existing product. I especially like the point about outcomes versus feature count. If an AI-native platform can automate several manual steps, integrate reliably with existing systems, and reduce operational overhead, that can be more valuable than a mature platform with hundreds of features. At the same time, reliability, security, integrations, and predictable pricing still matter. The best alternative is probably the one that solves a specific business problem better without creating a new layer of complexity.
